ACSE launches Jubilee Scholarships

In celebration of ACSE’s 50th Anniversary, the department is introducing a new postgraduate scholarship for MSc students.

The Jubilee Scholarship aims to help postgraduate students who have shown academic excellence and offers postgraduate students a one-off payment of £1500 towards their fees.

In order for a student to be eligible for the scholarship they must have achieved a first class honours degree, or equivalent at undergraduate (Bachelors or Masters) level. Applicants are encouraged to contact us to discuss equivalences for individual qualification systems. The University’s decision on equivalence is final.

Originally established in 1968 the department has grown to become the largest control and systems engineering department in Europe. ACSE is now home to over 130 academic staff, including research assistants and research students, as well as over 300 undergraduate and postgraduate degree students.

Students have access to state-of-the-art equipment, such as the Take Home Kit which has been specially designed by the department’s academic and technical staff to allow students to develop an embedded system on a platform they will see in the workplace.
