Congratulations to ACSE’s new Higher Education Academy (HEA) Fellow - Wan Mohd Bukhari Bin Wan Daud
Congratulations to our new Higher Education Academy Fellow, Wan Mohd Bukhari Bin Wan Daud, who has achieved his Fellowships through the Personal Pathway and Foundation Pathway of the Learning and Teaching Professional Recognition Scheme.
The University’s Learning and Teaching Professional Recognition Scheme was created to ensure all members of our University who teach or support learning have the opportunity to develop their practice and be recognised for this work whatever their role: academic, support or professional services staff.
Wan Mohd Bukhari Bin Wan Daud commented,
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank all who support and helped me to gain this recognition, especially my family, friends, university staff and the Department of Automatic Control and Systems Engineering. Being part of the HEA provides me with new teaching and learning skills which I feel has really helped me, especially in relation to my PhD topics; control, signal processing, and ethics.”
“Hopefully, this recognition will enhance my level of professionalism in the field of higher education. I will definitely share the knowledge, expertise and experience which I have gained in the UK and take it home home to Malaysia. We definitely need this in our own higher education system.”
The Scheme is aligned to the UK Professional Standards Framework for Teaching and Supporting Learning in Higher Education, a nationally recognised framework for benchmarking success within higher education teaching and learning support.
