The Beacon Church/The Junction (Methodist)
The Junction is the student worship at the Beacon.
Sometimes chilled-out with café-style discussion and conversations over coffee and cake, sometimes reflective and quiet – always shaped by students, for students, to glorify God together.
All are welcome to share in worship and fellowship.
God knows no divisions; nor do we.
Service times
The Junction, worship for students, is on Sundays at 7pm, during term-time.

Inclusivity questions
We have attempted to reflect accurately this church's responses. Phrases in quotation marks are exact quotations.
- What is your policy on gender roles/equality in leadership? "There is no distinction made between those roles which are available to men or to women, and all roles are open to those who identify as transgender."
- What is your policy on same-sex relationships, especially with regard to leadership? "Being in a same-sex relationship is in no way a barrier to participation in worship, fellowship or leadership here."
- What provision do you have for people with specific accessibility needs? The Beacon has level access, accessible toilet facilities, and a hearing loop. They say that they wish to be as inclusive and welcoming as possible, and will do their best to meet any access needs. "We have broad experience of supporting people with mental health difficulties. Our discussion-based services and Bible studies have occasionally taken disability or mental health as their themes, as we seek to build a community where all are able to participate."
From services examining gender and sexuality within our faith, to awareness around mental health and the Bible, to reflections on friendship and relationships – you name it, we’ve done it! The Junction allows your gifts to shine, and lets you come as you are!
