A group of researchers.

Dr Yichuan Wang recently spearheaded a research visit to the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, USA. This visit, hosted by Dr Yiran Su and Professor Matthew Thomson, aimed to cultivate research collaboration and unlock joint funding opportunities between the two schools. It was supported by the Enhancing International Research Collaborations Fund at Sheffield University Management School.

During the visit, two PGR students from Sheffield University Management School, Tong Chen (co-supervised by Dr Jiao Ji) and Chaonan Yan (co-supervised by Dr Lien Le Monkhouse), presented their cutting-edge research on non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and generative artificial intelligence to faculty members and PhD students at UMass Amherst. The visit also included an invited talk by Dr Yichuan Wang and a demonstration of the latest in VR and eye-tracking technologies.

The team at UMass Amherst will embark on a reciprocal visit to the Management School in March 2024 as part of on ongoing commitment to strengthening ties between the two institutions and expanding our collaborative research activity.
