Mapping Participatory Research at the University of Sheffield: Establishing Legacies for Best Practice

EDU - Mapping Participatory Research
Off

Dr Kirsty Liddiard, with colleagues across the University, has just received funding from Research England to establish a cross faculty participatory research network, PRN@TuOS. The project is supported by an Advisory Group that brings together researchers and research leaders in every faculty of the University. The aims of the project are to map and share participatory research across all faculties; establish the Participatory Research Network at (PRN@TUoS); and create new and exciting leadership opportunities for early and mid-career researchers. Importantly, the project will engage with partners outside of the University, learning from our external collaborators as to their experiences of engaging with universities for the purposes of research, and the potentials and problems with maintaining effective working relationships with researchers and academics and their institutions.
