New Professor of Digital Literacy

We welcome to our School Professor Jennifer Rowsell, who is an internationally renowned scholar in literacies.

Jennifer brings a wealth of experience and global expertise which aligns with the ambition of the School. Her scholarship explores ways to expand literacy to match the kinds of skills and practices children, teenagers, and adults use and understand today. Jennifer's research expertise will support high quality ongoing research in our Literacies and Languages Research Cluster, and also strengthen the teaching portfolio, Digital Literacies, Culture and Education and our ongoing commitment to open access online courses like our Teaching Digital Literacy: Videogames in Education and Makerspaces for Creative Learning.
