As part of his MEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Aiman completed an Industrial Placement Year as a Control Engineering Intern at GE Renewable Energy. After many successes over the course of his Electrical and Electronic Engineering Degree, including being shortlisted for a Leadership award at the Inspiring Student Worker Awards and winning the People's Prize 'Champion of Champions' at 'Engineering, You're Hired', Aiman is now moving on to a graduate job with his previous employer from his Industrial Placement Year. Ece is an international student from Turkey in her final year of study for a BEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and has had a remarkable experience studying at Sheffield so far. She did a year in industry as an Electronics Design Engineer, is a recipient of the Electronics Weekly Bright Sparks award, and attended a hackathon with a cross-faculty University of Sheffield engineering team which has led to a graduate role!
