This course delivers a powerful shot of specialist knowledge that will enhance your career. It’s suitable for recent graduates,legal professionals, legal academics or anyone working with European law in the private or public sector.
The degree is based on a structured first semester, which will provide you with the essential international legal principles and fundamental research skills required for further study.
Specialist modules include: Judicial Protection in the European Union; European Copyright Law; EU Health Law; EU Constitutional Law in International Context. You can also choose up to two modules for any other pathway.
Individual modules offered may vary depending on staff availability and the number of students selecting each module

Applying for this course
We use a staged admissions process to assess applications for this course. You'll still apply for this course in the usual way, using our Postgraduate Online Application Form.
The course is delivered through weekly seminars in each subject area.
Assessment is through essays and a dissertation.

We require a minimum 2:1 honours degree, or international equivalent, in law or a subject with a sufficient legal component. Other qualifications will be considered and relevant work experience will be taken into consideration alongside qualifications.
English language requirements
Overall IELTS grade of 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in each component, or equivalent.
