Course description

Develop an in-depth understanding of dental public health practice. Apply your understanding to the challenges in the delivery, planning and management of health services. You’ll learn how to critically analyse problems and find practical solutions that protect and promote oral health.

Teaching

You’ll learn from lectures, small group work, independent study and an applied research dissertation. Parts of the course are taught with students from other programmes. This creates a rich and lively environment for your learning.

Entry requirements

A dental degree, health-related degree or evidence of adequate experience with at least one year’s postgraduate experience.

English language requirements

Overall IELTS grade of 6.5 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component, or equivalent.
