Tour information

Campus tours are a great way to get an idea of what it’s like to study here. The main tour takes in our award-winning Students’ Union, library facilities, and some of our larger academic buildings.

Our tours last for approximately 90mins, which does involve a fair amount of walking, inside and outside. Please wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather.

To find out more about your course or department, we recommend attending an online postgraduate open day.

Accessibility

Please let us know on the booking form if you have any mobility or accessibility requirements. We can offer a step-free campus tour route with advance notice.

Please be aware that Sheffield is quite a hilly city and our tours cover a fair amount of ground - around a mile or so for the main campus tour.

If you’d like to discuss your requirements with us first, please contact the Campus Tour team by telephone (0114 222 9872) or email (myday@sheffield.ac.uk).
