About the University of Sheffield Women's Club
Our club is a thriving organisation with a long history* and around 100 members.
Membership is open to women who are present and past members of the University, graduate students and alumni, and to women who are the partners of present and past members of the University, graduate students and alumni. Associate membership is open to women with a particular connection with, or interest in, the University.
For new arrivals to the University, we provide a fund of information about life in and around Sheffield, and an ideal opportunity to make new friends. For women who find they have time for new activities we provide a friendly and stimulating environment.
A Committee is elected from among the members annually.
We organise a varied annual programme which we hope reflects the interests of our members and twice during the academic year we publish newsletters. If you would like to join us please click the link below, enter your details and our Membership Secretary will contact you.
If you would like to sample a meeting before committing yourself, do contact us and come as our guest.
