SCentRo - a new Robotics Centre

The Department of Automatic Control & Systems Engineering is pleased to announce its involvement in co-developing the new Sheffield Centre for Robotics (SCentRo).

SCentRo is an exciting new initiative involving the Departments of Computer Science, Psychology and ACSE and Sheffield Hallam University. The aim is to develop a world leading centre for robotics involved in developing new robots and algorithms across a wide range of application areas.  Dr Tony Dodd and Dr Roderich Gross from ACSE are key members of the new centre with particular interests in autonomous mobile robots, unmanned air vehicles and swarm robotics.
