From meeting the food needs of a growing population to reducing carbon emissions resulting from transportation, environmental challenges are faced at both a global and local level and require a holistic approach to research.
Interdisciplinary teams here at the University of Sheffield are working innovatively to develop new models, technology and systems to help companies reduce their environmental footprint as well as understand the public's level of acceptance of these new practices.
