Gaining a degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering opens up many different career pathways for you.  You may wish to stay in academia and continue your studies as a postgraduate or to pursue a career in industry. 

The average starting salary of our graduates is £27,000 (GEMS data 2016/2017) and 87% of our graduates are in graduate level jobs or further study after graduation.

Our Industrial Placement Year degrees offer a great opportunity to work in an Engineering company for a year as part of your degree as Callum did who stars in the video below. We also have a dedicated Industrial Placement Year team to help Faculty of Engineering students to find the best placements available.

International undergraduate scholarships

We offer a generous package of financial support for international undergraduate students, including scholarships worth £10,000 towards the annual tuition fee.
