You have the option within the degree to undertake a year in industry and gain first-hand employment experience whilst on your course, with a dedicated team to help you secure your placement. The year in industry is usually taken between year 2 and year 3 of the BEng degree.

General Engineering with a Foundation Year MEng (Hons)

If you don't have the usual scientific or mathematical background for an engineering degree, a foundation year is for you. After successfully completing the foundation year, which has modules in mathematics, physics and chemistry, you can start the MEng degree.
