My favourite thing about Sheffield is its beautiful landscape

What are your main responsibilities in your current role?
Architectural concept design, schematic design, and detailed design. I also coordinate with LDI (Local Design Institute).
Please outline your career history: how did you get to where you are today?
Architectural Assistant - Architect - Senior Architect (PRC before 2015)
Architectural Designer (Hong Kong after 2015)
Why did you want to come to the University of Sheffield to study your chosen degree?
The University of Sheffield had a good reputation. At the University I studied my undergraduate degree in SCUT, and Sheffield ranks top three in Britain. Also, the focus on study and research at Sheffield attracted me to choose it.
What were your favourite things about or best memories of the University of Sheffield?
My favourite thing about Sheffield is its beautiful landscape and cityscape. I also found that the citizens in Sheffield are friendly to international students, and on West Street there were convenient living facilities for students. Lastly, the Students' Union is rather helpful to students from the first day you arrive at the university.
Please explain how has your qualification and/or time at Sheffield helped you in your career?
It gave me a chance to step forward in path of career development. Therefore, I am able to find employment opportunities in a more international city.
What has been your greatest achievement to date?
I have joined three high-end projects that have been on site now, these experiences have helped me become more professional in the architectural industry.
