Exploring STEM for Girls is a fun and interactive event designed to excite, inform and spark girls’ curiosity in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM).
This event is for female pupils in Years 9 – 11 and will include opportunities to:
The session will include an inspirational talk from a prominent female engineer and there will be a wide selection of exhibition stands where pupils will have the opportunity to get involved in lots of hands-on activities and demonstrations.
There will also be a parallel workshop for accompanying school staff. This workshop will be of particular interest to curriculum leaders, achievement coordinators, STEM subject teachers or any school staff involved in advice and guidance roles e.g.: careers advisers and learning or progression mentors.
Please note that due to the popularity of this event, places will be limited to a maximum of 30 pupils per school.
