ScHARR Ranked 4th in the UK for the Power of Our Health Research

The results of the 2014 Research Excellence Framework (REF) have been published today, and have confirmed ScHARR as being home to world-leading health research.

ScHARR submitted 75 staff to Sub-Panel 2, which assessed Public Health, Health Services Research, and Primary Care Research. An analysis of the results published by the Times Higher Education magazine ranked ScHARR 4th in the UK for "power" (ahead of Oxford, Cambridge, and Imperial College London), which is a combination of research quality and the volume of our research.

A further analysis of the REF 2014 results also shows that ScHARR is ranked in the top 6 in the UK for the volume of world leading health research being conducted here.
