My research is collaborative with the Chartered Institute of Housing and looks at the impact the housing crisis has and is having on the skills set of strategic leaders in social housing organisations in England. It examines the changing context in which they are working, the impact the crisis has had on their business modelling and customer care approach and the challenges they face as a result. It further considers what these challenges and changes mean for future leaders skills sets. Examining and considering what training and development is needed to equip strategic leaders of housing organisations with the tools they need to lead the housing organisations of the future.
