We have closely monitored this tree for a year, checking for leaf form. While there is some new growth at a low level, the entire crown of the tree is dead and will become more dangerous over time.
It will be replaced with three new trees on the same site; two black cherry plum (Prunus Cerasifera Nigra) and one Himalayan birch (Betula Utilis Jacquemontii 'Snow Queen'). We plan to plant these in October/November 2020.
Edit: This work was scehduled for removal on 16 June, but the contractor was unable to reach the site due to parking.
