Current Maintenance Issues

18/08/25The Arts TowerThank you for your patience with regards to The Paternoster being out of operation over the summer. We are now in a position where we can complete the Paternoster Controller Upgrade and carry out the servicing and maintenance required. We aim to have The Paternoster back in service for the beginning of Intro Week (w/c Monday 22nd September). Again, we apologise for any inconvenience this has caused.

13/09/2025 - 14/09/2025Multiple buildingsDuring the weekend of 13/14 September, we will undertake a major water infrastructure project, resulting in the closure of 26 buildings and a water shutdown. Key staff, including affected schools, security, fire, and the student union, are already informed. Further details will be provided via a Notification of Works. Additionally, posters will be displayed in all affected buildings the week prior.

The telephony system for IT Service Desk, EFH Helpdesk, UHS phoneline and student admin is currently having issues.
This is being worked on with our supplier.

1802 Broad Lane Building, 1810 New Caledonia Workshop and 1818 Pam Liversidge Building will be completely closed between 05:00am and 08:00am tomorrow - Wednesday 6 August.  
This closure also applies to anyone who has out of hours (OOH) access.
