Updates on current disruptions affecting Estates and Facilities Management (EFM) services in University buildings, upcoming works which will affect EFM services and recently resolved issues.

Current Maintenance Issues

10/04/25	Pam Liversidge	The lift in PLB is currently out of use. The technical services team are waiting for parts to be delivered so this has caused a delay. We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused.

19/03/2025	20/03/2025	All buildings on central campus	District Heating outage Veolia have informed EFM u they need to undertake emergency corrective maintenance work on the underground pipeline which will affect heating supply all buildings on central campus. Works will commence on Wednesday 19th March at 19.00 hours, resulting in a disruption of heating supply for up to 12 hours. Works are expected to be completed by 07.00hours Thursday 20th March. Please note this is disruption to heating supply only. Normal power will be maintained throughout this period.
