The Personal Assistant to the Faculty Directors is a pivotal role, providing essential assistance across a range of activities which support the four pillars of the University strategy; Education, Research, Innovation and One University.

You will already be working at a senior administrative level, ideally gained in a higher education environment and will have experience of committee servicing and managing sensitive and confidential information.

You’ll have a degree (or equivalent experience) and will have demonstrable IT skills in Microsoft Office and Google applications. We would also especially like to hear from you if you can evidence experience of project support and delivery, whilst managing a number of conflicting priorities.

The Faculty of Engineering Central Services team leads and supports a wide range of initiatives and activities relating to student recruitment, learning and teaching, research and safety and infrastructure. You will have the opportunity to work and collaborate with nine very different departments across Engineering and you will join a network of supportive Personal Assistants who work together to develop and maintain best practice across the Faculty.

We are committed to enabling our employees to work in a hybrid model with flexibility over when, where and how to achieve the required outputs, in discussion with your manager.

We are committed to exploring flexible working opportunities which benefit the individual and University.
