Departmental receptions

Some departments hold receptions before or after the ceremonies. Please contact your department about these.

Octagon Centre

Enjoy a celebratory lunch or early evening meal at Side 8 Social, a brand new bar/cafe at The Octagon Centre. Situated immediately adjacent to the main hall where the ceremonies will take place, you’ll be in the best location for ease and comfort on the day. You can get a two or three course meal, fizz and cocktails, and a range of craft beers from our local suppliers at Thornbridge Brewery. 

Food will be served after the 12.15pm and 3.45pm ceremonies, but as availability will be limited, booking is essential. See the full menu here.

To reserve your table, please email Octagon@thornbridge.co.uk with your name and a contact phone number and they call you back to make your reservation.

Students' Union

You can find a full list of what is taking place at the Students' Union will be available soon.

Coffee Revolution and Interval are open all week serving breakfast and lunch options. The Interval also live streams the ceremonies. 

Ceremonies will be live streamed in the Students' Union Auditorium. Tickets are not required. 

Inox Dine

Inox is the perfect place for a special graduation meal on campus. Their graduation menu can be found on their website.
