The Healthy Lifespan Institute at the University of Sheffield is unique for its focus on delaying and preventing age-related multimorbidity and frailty across the life course, combining a wide range of research, from medical to social science, to produce new products, practices and policies.

We are identifying the determinants and predictors of multimorbidity and frailty (including socio-economic and environmental factors and biological processes) using Artificial Intelligence approaches.
