What spaces, rooms and equipment are available?
Bookable assistive spaces and rooms
Some students are registered to book Assistive Spaces, many of which are equipped with Assistive software and technology. If you feel that this service would benefit you please contact the Inclusive Learning Team at lib-inclusivelearning@sheffield.ac.uk.
For students who qualify for this service, these spaces are bookable up to two weeks in advance for a maximum of eight hours per day.

All student PC’s already have TextHelp Read & Write, ClaroRead, MindView, Inspiration and Adobe Acrobat DC Pro (available through the Software Centre).

Assistive Technology Suite 1.24
Four individual bookable spaces with height-adjustable tables and AT software.
The spaces are identified as:

PC with Lex, Readit, Dragon, Zoomtext and Audio Notetaker.
Text Enlarger Workstation with standalone CCTV text magnifier and OpticBook scanner on a height-adjustable desk. There is also a whiteboard in the room.
PC1059 – PC with Jaws, Lex, Readit, and a standard flatbed scanner (Epson V600 Photo).
PC1060 – PC with Lex and Readit on a height-adjustable desk (electronic) and a standard flatbed scanner (Epson V600 Photo).
PC1061 – PC with Zoomtext, Lex, Readit, a height-adjustable desk (electronic) and a standard flatbed scanner (Epson V600 Photo).
