Name of creator: Bill Weeks
Administrative / biographical history: Bill Weeks was educated at King’s College, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, later going on to lecture in agriculture and food marketing there when it became Newcastle University. He had a keen interest in steam engines and fairground organs, and was involved in the organisation of several traction engine rallies in the north-east of England. For many years he was an elected member of Newcastle City Council.
