Description

Learn about the role of an orthoptist and what it's like to study at Sheffield. You'll also have the chance to chat with current students.

Why do we see double?

We'll explore how the eyes work together, why sometimes they don't and why this might happen. By the end of this taster session, you'll be able to explain what happens when our eyes don't work together. You'll hear from current orthoptics students and staff and have the chance to ask questions.

This session is suitable for students in years 12 and 13.

This taster day provided a thorough explanation of orthoptics, offering valuable insight for those interested in pursuing a career in this field.
