Data returned to the Higher Education Statistics Agency shows that 100% of ACSE 2010/11 Graduate respondents are in full-time paid work or further academic study, six months after graduation.
An average of 94.5% of ACSE undergraduate respondents to the survey between 2008/9 and 2010/11 have obtained employment or further study within six months of graduation. The Department prides itself on the diverse opportunities that a degree in systems engineering gives to its graduates and we are particularly delighted to see the success of our most recent students in a challenging jobs market.
The University careers service manages the ‘Destinations of Leavers from Higher Education’ survey each year and forwards the information obtained to HESA. HESA then combines the Sheffield results with data across the country to form a national picture of graduate destinations. For the latest set of data involving 2010/11 graduates, 66.7% of former ACSE students replied to the survey and all of these students were in employment or further study at a graduate level six months after graduation.
