Professor Litster's research area is Particulate Products and Processes. His expertise is on wet granulation, with over 30 years' experience in the field.

Professor Mike Hounslow has published extensively on industrial crystallisation, granulation (particularly as it applies to the pharmaceutical industry), and on various forms of computer modelling.

Professor Palzer is primarily responsible for research in Nutrition, Innovative Product Structures, Novel Materials, Emerging Technologies, Analytics and Food Safety Research for Nestlé.

Prof Stefan Heinrich of the Hamburg University of Technology, has published over 60 peer-reviewed papers, 10 book contributions, 120 conference proceedings and more than 250 scientific presentations.
