Profile

I came to the University of Sheffield in 1993 as a dental instructor in the department of Child Dental Health, a lot has changed since then and I now work in the academic Unit of Restorative Dentistry as a University Teacher. My PhD thesis was concerned with the impact capabilities of thermoplastic structures for sports mouth-guards and I continue to investigate their use and efficacy. I have also concentrated on educational research, my PgDip in Education was focused on E-Learning and more recently my MEd thesis investigated Educational Imperialism & Internationalisation.
