We offer a range of DClinDent courses that give dentists the opportunity to specialise in restorative dentistry or orthodontics.

These clinical courses allow you to gain extensive practical experience of working with patients in your specialism. They are designed to prepare you to complete Royal College speciality memberships examinations.

Restorative dentistry courses

Our DClinDent courses in restorative dentistry have a common first year that all students complete before focussing on a monspeciality in later years.

Endodontics DClinDent

In your second and third years you'll specialise in endodontics and gain extensive practical experience as you work with patients. This course prepares you for the specialty membership examinations in endodontics of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (RCSEd).

Periodontics DClinDent

  • 3 years Full-time

In your second and third years you'll specialise in periodontics and gain extensive practical experience as you work with patients. This course prepares you for the specialty membership examinations in periodontics of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (RCSEd).

Prosthodontics DClinDent

International Merit Scholarships

We offer a generous package of financial support for international students including 75 undergraduate scholarships worth £10,000 towards the annual tuition fee and 125 postgraduate taught scholarships worth £5,000 towards the tuition fee. Applications are now open for existing offer holders.
