GDC registered dental hygienist and dental therapist with over 20 years experience in Dentistry. I joined the University in 2004 as a Clinical Tutor. I became Head of the Academic Unit of Dental Hygiene and Therapy in 2010. I have completed the University’s Certificate in Learning and Teaching and more recently a BSc in Dental Studies at the University of Central Lancashire.
My main interests are around the training of dental hygienists and dental therapists, dental teamwork and the use of peer-assisted teaching in dental education.
