Profile

I joined the Multidisciplinary Engineering Education department as a University Teaching Associate in December 2022. However, I did my PhD degree in the Energy 2050 group from 2016-2020. While doing my PhD studies in Sheffield University I was involved as a GTA in the fluid labs running in the Diamond.

In my current position as the Academic lead of the Fluid Mechanics Laboratory I will be designing, delivering and most importantly improving the practical sessions according to the feedback of our students and colleagues. I have always been passionate about the impact of engineering in our society and our planet. Therefore, with my experience since 2010 in Academy and Industry (In Mexico and France), developing and implementing projects with the triad engineering-sustainability-society I would like to transmit the relevant knowledge and enthusiasm to the students about the world of fluid mechanics.
