The Data Protection Officer's duties include:
- informing and advising the institution on obligations and requirements necessary to comply with data protection laws
- monitoring compliance, including managing internal data protection activities
- informing, educating and raising awareness of data protection issues internally
- acting as a point of contact for the Information Commissioner's Office and for data subjects.
