CompBioMed Conference 2021: Building the Virtual Human
Event details
Description
Registration for the CompBioMed Conference 2021 is now officially open!
This second edition of the conference will take place online using the vFairs platform. This platform provides the interactions you would expect from an in-person conference (talks, posters, booths, participant interactions through chat functionality) and features unique to the online format (gamification, leaderboards, digital literature repository). Plus, you can enjoy all of this from the comfort of your own home, office, park or coffee shop.
There are three confirmed plenary speakers, 15 symposia, and an International Organising Committee of renowned experts.
The confirmed plenary speakers are:
- Professor George Karniadakis (The Charles Pitts Robinson and John Palmer Barstow Professor of Applied Mathematics and Engineering, Brown University)
- Gernot Plank, PhD MSc (Professor of Computational Cardiology, Gottfried Schatz Research Center – Biophysics, Medical University of Graz)
- Professor Lucile Houyel (Medical Doctor at Hôpital Universitaire Necker, Paris)
The call for papers is open now and can be accessed at the Linklings page.
Submission deadline is 14 June 2021 but may be extended due to the timing of announcing this.
