Yorkshire Voices exhibition

Yorkshire voices logoYorkshire Voices explores what it means to write in the local dialect. Based on archive material generously donated by authors and their families, this exhibition celebrates the work of four very different writers.

Each writes about a different time and a different part of Yorkshire, and their reasons for writing differ. But each captures something about the people of Yorkshire and the way they speak.
