What type of parking do I need?

The following prices will apply from 1st October 2016 to 30th September 2017.

Needs based once demand exceeds supply. If space is unavailable a waiting list may apply.

A space will always be available in the designated car park for permit holders.

Needs based. A permit gives licence to use any Category B space but does not guarantee a space will be available. A waiting list may apply.

Staff may pay monthly via salary.

B (Scratch Card)

Needs Based. A permit must be used in conjunction with a prepaid parking scratch card. A permit gives licence to use any Category B or C space but does not guarantee a space will be available. A waiting list may apply.

With scratch cards you only pay for parking on the days when you use the car parks.

Disabled With current local authority disabled persons badge correctly used or with compelling evidence from doctor, Occupational Health /Student Services for a short term temporary period. Disabled permit holders may use any A, B, C or R car park and have exclusive use of disabled bays. No charge for EU badge holders. All others to be charged Cat B rate. On Call Permit This permit is for staff who are required to access the university out of hours on an ‘on call’ basis. Yes No No Charge. Contact EFM Helpdesk for further details.

For all the above permits (except the On Call and Disabled Permit) a 1 mile exclusion zone will apply. Staff or students who live within 1 mile of the University will not be issued with a permit.
