CAPU staff win Vice Chancellor's Award for Learning and Teaching in the category of Approaches to Inclusivity and Diversity
It's our pleasure to congratulate Saafi Mousa and Tom Isherwood for being the very worthy winners of the University of Sheffield's Vice Chancellor's Award for Learning and Teaching in the category of Approaches to Inclusivity and Diversity. Their success was announced the Celebrating Education event on Wednesday 29th June.
This is an incredible achievement; there were a number of strong entries from across the University under consideration for this award. This recognition reflects the excellent and sector-leading work that Saafi and Tom have been doing to identify and improve issues of equality, inclusivity and diversity in DClinPsy training programmes and across the discipline.
Thank you Saafi and Tom for this work. Thanks also to Gillian Hardy for nominating Saafi and Tom for the award, and for supporting the work more broadly.
There were a number of other nominations for Psychology staff including: Abi Bradbury and Sarah Priestly, Chantelle Wood, Claudia von Bastian, Jilly Gibson-Miller, Rebecca Denniss and Tom Stafford. Congratulations to all, and thanks on behalf of the department - for all the work that you do to teach, innovate, and support and inspire our students.
