Cindy is a PhD student at the University of Sheffield's Department of Economics under the supervision of Dr. Antonio Navas and Dr. Enrico Vanino. Her primary research interest lies in the area of international and development economics, particularly on trade, migration, and foreign aid. Her other fields of interest include the economics of innovation and governance, labour economics, and demographic economics.

Cindy’s research seeks to examine the impacts of domestic policies/regulations and international initiatives affecting the digital economy on trade flows in general and on services trade flows in particular. Moreover, she strives to understand the interlinkages of these factors with shocks and inclusive development outcomes.
