GPRG co-authored LNAPL handbook profiled at AquaConSoil 2015 conference

The highly popular LNAPL handbook, co-authored by Steve Thornton with an international team of scientists and engineers from Canada and the UK, was profiled by CL:AIRE (claire.co.uk) at the June 2015 AquaConSoil conference in Copenhagen.

The main university building at the University of Copenhagen

The illustrated handbook, funded by Shell Global Solutions, was published in December 2014. It provides technical guidance on the subsurface behaviour of light non-aqueous phase liquids (LNAPLs) and is intended to be a concise best-practice tool for use in discussions and negotiations regarding LNAPL-impacted sites.

A bulletin has been prepared by CL:AIRE to accompany the handbook and provide an overview of its contents. CL:AIRE gave a presentation of the handbook at the AquaConSoil conference to promote this ground-breaking publication and publicise its availability.
