Programme Manager
IT Services is delivering an ambitious Operating Model Programme, a significant, multi-year redesign that will change how the department organises, resources and works in order to better support the University's strategic priorities. The programme spans structures, ways of working, processes and culture.
This role is central to the day-to-day success of the programme, working closely with the Head of Portfolio, workstream leads and senior stakeholders across the University to keep delivery on track.
Working to a pre-defined programme scope and governance framework, the postholder will proactively map dependencies across workstreams, manage risks and issues and track progress against plan. The programme itself is delivering ITS's shift to a product-led operating model, and the postholder will need to work comfortably within that agile, outcomes-focused environment. This is a permanent role: the initial priority is delivery of the Operating Model Programme, and over time the postholder will take on programme delivery management of other key priorities across the ITS portfolio.

Service Desk Analyst
The Service Desk Analyst role is a customer focused IT role within an established Service Desk team. You will be responsible for providing first-line technical support to university students and staff via our phone line, Self Service portal, live Chat and our face-to-face TechBar service. Main duties include answering queries, identifying and solving problems, and resolving technical issues related to hardware, software, and general IT services. Documenting support tickets and maintaining accurate records of support interactions for progressing complex issues to the appropriate technical support team. Maintaining current knowledge of university IT policies, procedures, and technologies. You will demonstrate strong customer service and team working skills, have an interest in IT along with superb communication skills.

Lead Domain Architect - Infrastructure
IT Services at the University of Sheffield provides a comprehensive range of technology and digital services that underpin teaching, learning, research and professional services across the University. This role supports delivery across our three strategic product areas: Education, Research and Innovation, and One University. These product areas utilise modern product-based and agile delivery approaches to improve services, simplify processes and accelerate digital transformation.
The Lead Domain Architect – Infrastructure is a senior leadership role within the Architecture Practice. The role is responsible for defining and governing the University’s infrastructure architecture, ensuring technology platforms are secure, resilient, scalable and aligned to the University’s strategic direction. The post holder will provide technical leadership across infrastructure architecture, including networking, cloud, end user computing, hosting, data centres, storage, virtualisation and core infrastructure services. They will lead a small team of domain architects, establish architectural standards and roadmaps, and work closely with product, project and engineering teams to ensure technology investments support long-term business outcomes.
