We are a passionate team of developers specialising in designing and building complex student information systems. We are looking for someone to help us create innovative solutions that streamline critical processes, empower students, and enhance the overall academic experience.

You will have expertise in developing systems using Python and expertise in developing, monitoring, debugging and fault handling of complex integrations between different systems. You will need to have the ability to mentor junior colleagues on development best practice, AWS skills and Python.

Senior Research Platforms Engineer

The Research and Innovation IT team provides the platforms and services that allow our researchers to stay at the forefront of science, engineering, health and other fields. As a Research Platforms Engineer within the Research and Innovation IT team, you will work with an amazing team of bright and engaged people to design, build, develop and look after platforms and services that will support researchers, with your focus being primarily on the infrastructure.

Senior IT Support Technician

As Senior IT Support Technician within the IT Asset Support (ITAS) team, you will be responsible for the operational delivery of a customer-focused IT support service, prioritising student and staff experience with the University's IT Services department.

You will be responsible to provide - both in person and remote - second line support resolution for complex customer requests, end user devices, hardware, operating systems, software and cloud-based applications and configuration of network services for Windows and macOS. You will provide the senior escalation point for customers, and you will be responsible for organising operational work and projects, including the prioritisation and delegation of scheduled jobs and activities. You will act as the technical expert, share knowledge, and design and develop plans to improve the skills of colleagues and customers.

IT Support Manager (IT Asset Support)

You will lead a dynamic team of IT Specialists; guiding and developing your team to become experts in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues related to University-issued devices, software, and applications. You will embed a customer-centric approach in everything you and your team does, and be able to utilise data analytics to identify trends, optimise support processes, and measure the success of your team's initiatives.
