Google Scholar provides a way to broadly search for scholarly literature across disciplines and sources.

The Google Scholar archive includes peer-reviewed papers, theses, books, abstracts and articles from academic publishers, scholarly societies, pre-print repositories, universities and other scholarly organisations.

Connect to Google Scholar

To locate full text electronic content available through the University Library, you can use Google Scholar library links. To do this you will need to do the following:

  • Connect to Google Scholar using the link above

  • Click on Settings

  • Click on Library links

  • Search for Sheffield in the search box

  • Check the box next to University of Sheffield Library – Find it @ Sheffield

  • Click Save

  • You can then start searching using links to the University Library's e-resources
