Dental Surgery offer holder days
As part of your offer holder day at Sheffield, you'll be spending some quality time getting to learn about the School of Clinical Dentistry and your chosen course.
Arriving at your session
You will have booked to visit us from 10am - 12.30pm on Saturday 18 April.
Your arrival location is: The Diamond, Lecture Theatre 5 (get directions via Google Maps / Apple Maps).
You'll need to arrive around 30 minutes before your session starts so we can scan your QR code to register you.
If you arrive late for your booked session, head to one of our Information Hub tents spread around campus where event staff will be able to assist you.
Dental Surgery offer holder timetable
Here's what to expect from your time with us. Timings are approximate and are subject to change, and so we recommend checking back prior to the event.

You'll take part in an activity related to dentistry to give you a real taste of what it's like to be a student at Sheffield.
Taster lecture on professionalism
Join this session for a fun insight into how we develop you not just as a clinician, but also as a professional. We'll be taking a light-hearted look at some of the issues you might encounter, how we help you through them and what happens when Dentists get it wrong! Join the session to see some of Dentistry's bloopers as well as some of its professional super heroes.
Dedicated questions and answers with current students
You're encouraged to use this opportunity to speak to our range of current students who are at different stages of the course and ask them any questions you may have. They will be able to provide a valuable insight into what being a Dental Surgery student at Sheffield is really like, such as details of the dental facilities, clinical skills, teaching and assessment, placement and more.

Bringing a guest
When booking, you'll be able to reserve a place for yourself and one guest at your subject activities. To ensure safe venue capacities, the department will be unable to accommodate any additional visitors.
However, you're welcome to bring additional guests to accompany you on the day, and we would encourage these guests to take part in our range of central exhibitions and tours while the department activities are running.
