Throughout her studies, Isabelle showed dedication to helping others achieve their potential and a commitment to her student community.
Gaining an international outlook
As an International Business Management student Isabelle studied abroad in Sydney, Australia as part of her degree. Despite the challenges of the COVID-19 global pandemic, Isabelle still managed to gain work experience taking on a part-time role as Hostess at Sydney restaurant The Squire’s Landing.
She also dedicated her own time to providing extra English-support to fellow students on their study abroad year, whose first language wasn’t English.
A part of the community
In the UK, Isabelle continued to pro-actively engage with her student community in her roles as Public Relations Officer for Enactus Sheffield, member of the Sabrecats Stunt Cheerleading Team and as a Student Mentor.
As the Events Officer of the Investment Society, she helped to raise £591 in the Finance, Investment, Trading and Economies Fundraiser (#FITE2021) to increase awareness of student mental health via the charity, Mind.
Isabelle also volunteered her time with Irise International for International Women’s Day in the battle against period poverty.
Employability development
Isabelle boosted her employability in the marketing industry by completing a Digital Marketing Internship with 10 Out Of Zen alongside her degree.
She is now working in digital marketing consulting roles with clients including the Make Birth Better network.
