Travelling to the school

We have developed a Travel Guide (PDF) for visitors to the school - to find out how to get to the school by foot, bus, Supertram or bike. You can find more travel information on the University's travel pages.

There is a variety of free and paid-for road parking within walking distance of the school. We also have five visitor parking spaces at the rear of the building (off Crookesmoor Road) which you should book prior to your visit to ensure a permit is allowed. Email mgt.reception@sheffield.ac.uk for more information.

We encourage students, and guests where possible, to travel to the school by foot or public transport. Buses run by First and Stagecoach (51 and 52) travel within five minutes’ walk from the school and the 120 service runs through Broomhill, around ten minutes’ walk. Find more information on these regular bus services on the Travel South Yorkshire website.

We are around 15 minutes’ walk from the University of Sheffield Supertram stop, which is very close to campus and the Students’ Union – the school is in a leafy, suburban area close to first-year accommodation and areas where students choose to live in later years of study.
