What are your main responsibilities?

Where have you worked previously?

Prior to this role I was working for a small social enterprise which supported youth entrepreneurship. I was head of networks, managing a wide university and college network. Before that I was working in India for two years in the social enterprise sector for a US impact firm.

How have your philosophy degrees help you in your career?

In the business consulting world a philosophy undergraduate and masters degree is valued highly as it evidences an ability to think critically.

What advice to do have for students who would like to pursue a career like yours?

Plan ahead - use your time whilst still at university and just afterwards wisely - think about the things you can be doing to get experience, build networks, learn new skills. It doesn’t matter if you don’t know what you want to do when you graduate - think more about the person you want to be, the lifestyle you’d like to have and work inwards from there.
