Keynote speech for Professor Zimmerman

Professor Will Zimmerman will be one of the keynote speakers at the 15th International Conference on Heat Transfer, Fluid Mechanics and Thermodynamics

Professor William Zimmerman

The 15th International Conference on Heat Transfer, Fluid Mechanics and Thermodynamics takes pelace on 25-28 July 2021 in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

The conference is broad in scope and provides a forum for specialists in heat transfer, fluid mechanics and thermodynamics from all corners of the globe to present the latest progress and developments in the field. The broad scope brings together a wide range of research areas from narrow fundamental work in nanofluids to import applications such as in the broad fields of energy, manufacturing, biomedical processes, production, education, instrumentation and control.

Professor Zimmerman will be presenting that some hot water does freeze faster than cold, and why microbubbles mediate this more rapid heat transfer.

Read the Paper: 'Dispersed mircobubble mediation of additonal heat trasnfer in aqueous solutions due to phase change dynamics: applications and solution to the age old mpembra effect'.
