PhD researcher: Liliana Sepulveda
This research aims to identify the needs of family caregivers of Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias (ADRD). In particular, this investigation focuses in caregivers who use in-home care solutions to monitor their affected family member. Inside the ADRD research, these type of interventions are known as Ambient Assisted Living (AAL) technologies. In addition, this research attempts to identify the needs by exploring primary caregiver’s perceptions and lived experiences in a particular cultural context: Mexico.
