The University Heritage Collection includes around 12 textile works. Some are framed decorative pieces whereas some are site-specific wall hangings displayed across the campus.
This embroidered silk collage, which is forty feet long and eight feet high, hangs in the Cataloguing Hall of the Western Bank Library and shows a procession of figures in academic gowns interspersed with vertical pillars of silks in the colours of the Faculty hoods. It was commissioned in 1988 by the Convocation of the University.
Two large rectangular painted silk panels with a circular motif within squares made of interlaced motifs representing the work of the different Faculties. Commissioned by the University in 1993.
