Jenny SaulJules Holroyd, Robin Scaife, and Tom Stafford (Psychology) have received funding for a two-year project working with the Cabinet Office to investigate workplace climate and improve diversity and inclusion in the government security workforce. (This includes everyone from guards on doors to people working in cybersecurity.)

The team is very excited about this collaboration, which will involve not just studying what current issues may be in these workplaces, but also suggesting and testing solutions that create better and more diverse environments.

Jules, Robin and Tom have already worked together on a large Leverhulme-funded project on implicit bias, and have done training work with the judiciary. Jenny ran a Leverhulme-funded network on implicit bias and philosophy and does training and consultation work in academia.

This project presents a unique opportunity to work for an extended period on a real-life field experiment in how to create work environments that are better for everyone.
